After her two best friends dump her, Amy hopes for a romance with Zed, who she met in an Internet chat room. But spending the day at his ocean front crib is not what she had in mind. On her train ride home she notices her shirt is on backwards, but she was almost positive that she had it on right when she left her house. Not even remembering what had happened that day, Amy becomes very suspicious.
I absolutely loved Amy. It is a quick read about making the right choices. This is one of my favorite realistic fiction books that I have read in a long time. In, He’s With Me, fifteen-year-old Lexie Willis is just starting the summer and is not looking forward doing tennis because the art program that Lexie wanted to attend was already full. Lexie despised tennis, but her mom wanted her to do something athletic over the summer. Stephanie Meyer Little Brown, 2005 Pp. $9.99
ISBN: 0-316-16017-2
Bella Swan moved from Phoenix, Arizona to the small town of Forks, Washington, hoping to focus on her schoolwork and to make a decision about college. She didn’t know she would embark on an unforgettable adventure and fall in love with a vampire. When Bella meets Edward Cullen, he immediately intrigues her. As she gets to know Edward, she learns about his deepest secrets. Edward is a vampire that doesn’t feed on people and has a treaty with the Native Americans of her town. The more time she spends with Edward the more she learns about the dangerous way he has to live. When her life is threatened, Bella has to make the choice of a dangerous life with Edward, or a simple life without him.
Stephanie Meyer takes you on a twisted and suspenseful journey about two people fighting to be together in the world they live in. I related to the characters in every moment and the description was so good I could see everything that was happening. It compared the differences between the two characters and how hard it was to be in love between a vampire and a human. Twilight is full of adventure and romance and is an extraordinary series by the talented Stephanie Meyer. I loved this book until the very end and would recommend this to anyone.

But when she meets the Wish Bone catering company, that all changes. She makes friends for the first time since her father’s death and starts to feel alive again. Wes is different though. When he’s with Macy, he makes her feel like she did when her father was alive. The more time Macy spends with Wes, the more she realizes she’s falling for him. As their relationship grows, Macy begins to find out who she really is.
I loved the way that Sarah Dessen writes and the stories she tells. Throughout the book the reader could see how Macy was growing and starting to find herself. As Macy tells her story, you can see her thoughts and feelings that are showing you how she is growing as a person. The Truth about Forever is one of her best. It tells about friendship, love, and the loss of a loved one. I loved this book and would recommend this book to girls mostly but anybody can read it.

In, He’s With Me, fifteen-year-old Lexie Willis is just starting the summer and is not looking forward doing tennis because the art program that Lexie wanted to attend was already full. Lexie despised tennis, but her mom wanted her to do something athletic over the summer. While school was out all Lexie wanted to do was chill with the most popular guy of her dreams, Jake, but with tennis twice a week that was impossible. After a week into summer, Lexie’s twin brother, Collin, talks Jake into going out with Lexie. But it was a fake relationship only to get Bree, Jakes ex, jealous.
Things begin to change as Lexie and Jake hang out more often. That’s when Bree got jealous and her claws came out. Bree would do anything to get Jake back.
Tamara Summers did a great job writing this book and had some realistic dialogue, and great the great descriptions. The reason why I say this is when Lexie’s Mom describes the new swimsuit she gets.
I would recommend this book to any girl who loves romance, and the anticipation and excitement of a blossoming relationship. I loved this book because of its fun moments when Lexie and Jake are teasing each other and when falling in love too.

Twilight

Macy is the perfect daughter. She studies hard, gets good grades, does her chores, knows exactly which college she wants to get into, and what her major will be. This summer, Macy was going to do something different. She wasn’t completely over her father’s death and wanted this summer to be about setting her future.

Krista Brown is an ultra popular soccer playing senior. She has her best friend Brooke, her awesome boyfriend Cam, and the soccer field to show off her power. Charlie is a freaky, invisible, surfing sophomore who has no friends.
Tables turn when Charlie tries out on the same soccer team as Krista. Charlie goes from the bottom of the social ladder to the top of the top. She finally has friends and is the best player out on the field. For Krista, on the other hand, things aren’t going so well. Her “fake” best friend Brooke is becoming a big jerk, she’s having conflicts with her “so-called” boyfriend, and she’s losing her spotlight to her sister. What will she do to get back on top?

Vegan Virgin Valentine
Carolyn Mackler
Candle Wick Press, 2006, 220pp., $8.99
ISBN 978076362136
What would you do if your promiscuous niece had to come live with you? That, is exactly what happened to Mara Valentine. Her niece (well her thirty-five year old sister's daughter)"V" has just moved in with her and hate is in the air. Mara is a straight "A" student and a down-to-earth, good girl. V is pot smoker with a bad reputation. Mara has only had one boyfriend before James, the coffee shop owner with the long, sexy hair. Will their relationship go on? And what will Mara do about V? Will they finally accept each other, or will their hate last forever?
Vegan Virgin Valentine is one of the best romance novels I've ever read in my whole life because it really explains her love for James. The title caught my eye and I hope it catches yours. Carolyn Mackler really reveals Mara's thoughts and feelings. Through her thoughts and the first person point of view I felt as if I were Mara and began to feel her emotions. While reading Vegan Virgin Valentine I couldn't wait for the next thing to happen. Another book dealing with relationships within the family is The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things also by Carolyn Mackler. I would recommend Vegan Virgin Valentine to girls who like romance novels.
